SCHOOL NEWS
NEW: It's Forecasting Time!
Forecasting season is upon us. We love this time of year because it is when students get to have their voices heard in the classes we offer at Franklin. This past Thursday, Franklin students had the opportunity to hear about Franklin programs during our Forecasting Fair.
On Monday, January 13th, current 10th and 11th graders will be participating in grade-level assemblies to learn about the forecasting process and get their forecasting sheets. They will have access to Student VUE to begin entering their requests at that time.
Current 9th graders will learn about the process in their inquiry class during the first week of second semester.
Students rely on families to help them make great choices for the next school year. Because classes at Franklin are a year long, it is very important that students take forecasting seriously. Franklin has so many amazing advanced coursework opportunities that can help students explore their interests and prepare them for their post high school future. Families can learn more about the forecasting process by visiting the counselors website linked on the Franklin page. They can read course descriptions on the Franklin Digital Course Guide linked on the Franklin Quick Links (right-hand side of the FHS homepage). Thank you for your help in supporting your student through this process.
