Weekly Wrap Up
Maple Place Middle School - 3/15/24 Week 27
Principal's Message :
Good Morning, Maple Place Families,
This week began with #SELday celebrating the theme "Today's Students - Tomorrow's Leaders." Students were encouraged to come dressed for the career they want in the future. Thank you to Mrs. Bonett for organizing this day for our students.
On Tuesday, March 12th, 8th grade student, Sheridan "Shea" Taylor, was the Maple Place Middle School representative at the annual New Jersey School Board Association's Monmouth County Dialogue which was held at Ocean Township Intermediate School. The dialogue provides student representatives with a chance to talk about their school and their community. Shea did an amazing job representing all of us at Maple Place.
This coming week is going to be very busy at Maple Place. We have a Dine to Donate event to benefit the 8th grad class of 2024 happening on Monday, March 18th. Skip the chore of cooking dinner and come out to Enzo's - dine in, pick up, and delivery options are available.
The spring musical, Mean Girls, Jr. will be taking place this week. The students and directors have been working SO hard to bring you another amazing show. Come out to see Mean Girls, Jr. Thursday through Saturday nights at 7pm in the Maple Place Cafeteria. More information is below.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend. Have a Happy St. Patrick's Day!

The eighth graders will also be selling snacks and kisses for the cast at this year's Spring Musical - Mean Girls, Jr. There also be a 50/50 each night of the play with the proceeds benefiting the 8th grade class. Also, there is the upcoming Basketball Game between the Maple Place basketball players and the OPPD. A sign up genius link was emailed out to all 8th grade parents with opportunities to volunteer to help sell snacks during the Spring Musical performances or to donate candy and snacks for our sales.
