It’s been a busy month in the library! All three grades read and enjoyed Our Table by Peter H. Reynolds. This is a wonderful book about how a family works together to build a new table around which they can gather and spend time together. Then students took the “Table Challenge” where they were tasked with building a strong table just like the characters in the book. The catch? Students could only use three pieces of 8.5 by 11 printer paper and tape.

All three grades also enjoyed a wonderful visit with Miss Debbie from Mt. Pleasant Public Library. She talked to all classes about the great programs the public library has in store for everyone this summer so please consider signing up for the summer reading challenge. I’ve truly enjoyed getting to know your children this year. Their creativity and curiosity is delightful and inspiring and I look forward to continuing this reading journey next September.
