Kakisa Lake School Newsletter

Last week was an eventful week like always at Kakisa Lake School.

Students are working hard on English, Math, Science, Social Studies, PE and Art and have started Career work and Design Challenges.

We made a turkey on Friday and sent that home to the families. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

This week we have University students who will be supporting our Fire Unit developed last year. They will come in at 1 PM on October 15th. We have our 3rd Connect North Ed session, this one is an art one, scheduled for 10:30 AM on the 17th. The first two have been amazing! We did a writing one for the first one which ties into the longer writing work we are doing. Our second session was a Writer's Talk with Sara de Waard who wrote the novel, White Lies (pictured below). We will have another session with her to support our script writing.
