View Report Cards Online
Families may login to their A-HConnect account or download the ParentVUE mobile app to access student report cards. Report cards are only available online and will no longer be sent through postal mail or student’s backpacks.
The switch to online report cards means that information is available to review at the conclusion of each trimester. Schools will notify families when the report cards are available to view. Parents, guardians and any person with educational rights to a student will be able to access the student’s report card online.
Get steps for viewing report cards on the Anoka-Hennepin Schools website.
For assistance with your login information, contact the Anoka-Hennepin Schools HELP Desk at 506help@ahschools.us or 763-506-HELP (4357). For questions about the report cards or for printing accommodations, please contact the main office at your child’s school.
State Testing - Grades 3, 4 & 5
Each year students in public schools across the state take the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCA). Students in grades 3, 4, and 5 will take the MCA in reading and mathematics online. Students in grade 5 will also take an online science test. Students on an IEP may have accommodations if appropriate. The state monitors whether schools and districts meet certain targets to make sure our students progress toward high standards. They may also be used as part of students’ course placement decisions and determination of interventions needed.
The MCA math and reading tests will be given in school between April 14 - April 23.
The fifth grade MCA science test will be given in school between May 6 & May 7.
Testing tips
Please make sure your child is in school for these tests as good attendance is a key factor for overall student success. In addition, here are some test-taking tips to keep in mind:
Be sure your child gets plenty of rest (this is important all the time, but especially for test days).
Eat healthy, balanced meals, and have a good breakfast on test day.
Remind your children not to get discouraged if they don’t know an answer.
Students are reminded that a suggested strategy is to select the best choice at that time and go back to review questions at the end of the testing section.
Both paper and online item samplers are available from parent and student A-H Connect pages and from the vendor website, http://minnesota.pearsonaccessnext.com/item-samplers. View by subject and grade, then select either the paper or online option.
