SST SUGAR LAND CALENDAR UPDATE

Dear SST Sugar Land Parents/Guardians,

We are excited about the first day of school on Monday, September 9th.

We wanted to provide you with an update regarding the status of the inspection of our new school building. We passed our first Health Inspection and schedule our final health inspection tomorrow.

We would like to invite you to our school on Friday between the hours of 1:00 pm. and 4:30 pm. You may come and see the building, your classrooms, meet the teachers and drop your supplies.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

In order to compensate the instruction days lost, we decided to add school days to our academic calendar and add some minutes to our instructional days. School hours will be changed from 7:45 AM-3:10 PM. to 7:40 AM-3:20 PM. So, our new school hours will be from 7:40 AM. to 3:20 PM. By doing this, we added 15 more minutes to our daily instructional time.

We also added a new 4 school days. These dates will be

Oct 14, Feb 17, April 13, May 29.
We also turned some of our professional days to school days. These days will be November 22 and April 24. And finally, we decided to cancel our two early dismissal days and turn in into full days. We are planning to do our afternoon parent-teacher conference day as a week-long parent-teacher meeting. We will inform you in details later. (See our attached revised approved academic calendar)
