December 8, 2023
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE - Mr. Goodrich
Nederland Middle-Senior HS Community,
Nederland Middle-Senior High School has a strong tradition of excellence in our theater program. Liz Evans does an amazing job juggling her music programs and developing talent from middle school to high school. One of the yearly conferences our students attend is the Colorado State Thespian Conference (Thescon). Our students attend, are exposed to multiple levels of theater performance and tech workshops and they perform.
This year several students earned honors at the conference. They are Blue Garcia-Paine, Tyler Goodnow, Lola Kelley and Hazel Kelley. They all earned Superior and Excellent ratings for their hard work. Way to go Nederland thespians and Ms. Evans.

The Wellness Center will be running an Emotions and Stress Skills Group once per week during the school day for 6-8 weeks after Winter Break. There will be separate groups for middle and high school students with age-tailored content. The group will focus on identifying and regulating emotions, distress tolerance and developing effective coping skills. Interested students can sign up using this link or by filling out a form on the bulletin board across from the Wellness Center. Please contact Mac Dvorak, the Mental Health Advocate in the Wellness Center with any questions.
New Hours:
The Wellness Center has new hours thanks to additional funding from Impact on Education! The Center is now open Tuesdays-Thursdays during the entire school day.
