This scholarship list is maintained by school counselors from each of the Calvert County high schools. This list is not meant to be all inclusive; these scholarships represent what is sent to each high school in an attempt to advertise available scholarships.

December Deadlines
Coolidge Scholarship - CURRENT JUNIORS ONLY
- The Coolidge Scholarship is a full-ride, four-year, merit scholarship that recipients may use for undergraduate study at any accredited college or university in the United States.
- Any high school junior who plans to enroll in college in the fall of 2026 and is an American citizen or legal permanent resident is eligible to apply (current high school seniors are not eligible to apply). Winners may use the scholarship to pursue any academic major.

Lyceum Scholars Program - Clemson University
Open to incoming freshmen of any major, the Lyceum Scholars Program uses a great books approach to studying the moral, political and economic foundations of a free society. All Lyceum Scholars receive a $10,000 scholarship disbursed over their four years at Clemson University.

Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship
- Helps students interested in computer science, engineering, and robotics with the support of up to $40,000 in college funding and internship opportunities at Amazon

Lariat Foundation Scholarship
- Scholarships for seniors interested in studying STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) subjects in college
- Must meet income requirements - family income of $55,000 or less
- Have strong performance in math and science (3.5 GPA or above, AP courses)

January Deadlines
National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Scholarships
Each year the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) awards multiple scholarships to students showing dedication to the pursuit of higher education in diverse areas of study including history, economics, law, political science, medicine, nursing, occupational and physical therapy, elementary and secondary education, chemistry, math, science and English.
- Applicants must be citizens of the United States.
- Applicants must attend or plan to attend an accredited college or university in the United States.
- All multi-year scholarships, typically renewable up to four years, must be for consecutive years of attendance.
- Awards are based on academic excellence, commitment to the field of study, and/or financial need, or other restrictions on specific scholarships.
- Awards are placed on deposit with the recipient’s college or university and any unused portion shall be returned to the DAR.
- Applicants are only eligible to receive one national scholarship from the DAR Scholarship Committee.

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship
- For graduating minority high school seniors who demonstrate financial need, academic excellence, leadership potential, and dedication to community service

Johnson and Wales University Future Food Scholarship Program
U.S. high school seniors will be invited to submit formulas/recipes for fully composed savory or sweet dishes that address one or a number of critical food system challenges, including (but not limited to):
- Carbon footprint and ecological damage
- Food waste
- Poor nutritional outcomes, particularly among food-insecure households

Distinguished Young Women-CURRENT JUNIOR GIRLS
Open to 11th grade girls, DYW has awarded $122 MILLION in cash scholarships and provided 780,000+ young women with college-granted scholarships to colleges and universities across the nation. In addition to providing scholarships, DYW challenges each participant to share its national outreach program, Be Your Best Self (BYBS), with young people across the nation.

Men's College Scholarship
- Designed to identify and reward outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated an ability to excel in the fields of academics, extra-curricular school activities and community involvement.
- Must be a graduating high school senior in the United States
- Must identify as male

- For seniors who demonstrate scholastic achievement, financial need, community and school involvement; interview is part of the application process
