We are rapidly approaching the end of term with only two and a half weeks left of school before Easter. It has been a busy one with our Pre-Primary, Year 1, Year 3 and Year 5 students sitting either CEWA or government mandated assessments, including NAPLAN which commenced today.

Book your parent - teacher meeting

You will have received an invitation to meet with your classroom teacher to discuss your child’s progress in Term 1. This is a short 10-minute meeting to discuss your child’s strengths, and areas of learning for goals should be set. We ask that you please make use of this opportunity and set a time to meet your child’s classroom teacher. Education is a partnership and when we have parents involved in their children’s learning, we see great outcomes being achieved.

All parents welcome at our P&F meeting

Next week on Monday we have our bi-monthly P&F meeting at school at 6pm. All parents and carers are welcome to join us. It was lovely to see some new parents at the last P&F meeting. Being involved in the P&F is a way to serve our wonderful community and meet other parents. If you have any questions about the meeting or the P&F, please contact the front office.

Enrol for Kindy 2025

We are starting to interview for Kindy 2025. If you have a child eligible to enrol for Kindy 2025, please contact the front office to pick up enrolment forms.

The P&F is seeking donations for its annual Easter Raffle. Donations of Easter eggs, Easter bunnies, Easter crafts or other Easter gifts can be taken to your child's classroom. We appreciate your support. The raffle will be drawn in the last week of Term 1, Week 9. Thank you for supporting the Our Lady of Mercy P&F.

If you have a three year old child and would like them to attend OLOM Kindy next year, you need to fill in an application form to enrol for Kindy.

Kids Academy runs before and after school care here at OLOM. Pop into see them if you are interested in using this service to help look after your child before or after school.
