March is Read Across America Month! 📚
Elementary students participated in Flash Mobs when the principal announced a surprise reading time. All students and staff stop what they're doing and read a book! Older students also serve as reading buddies and help their younger classmates learn to sound out words and read complete sentences and paragraphs.
What great ways to engage students and create life-long readers!
100 Days of Kindergarten in the Books!
Miniature centurions took the stage to mark a special milestone - the 100th day of their journey!
Kindergarten students dressed up like they were 100 years old. The occasion is a joyful reminder that progress had been made, with the school year more than halfway over already! School staff praised the young centurions for their dedication and growth. Their enthusiasm was contagious, reminding everyone that even the smallest victories are worth celebrating!
