NOW ENROLLING in DISTRICT HEALTH PLANS THROUGH OCT 25
Thanks to the Part-time Healthcare MOU negotiated in June, eligible part timers can now enroll in the same district-sponsored health insurance as full time faculty.
- Any P/T Faculty with .40 FTE or more (at SMCCD or combo with other districts)
- District Enrollment website is live

Health Insurance Reimbursement for Part-time Faculty
Not joining the District sponsored plan or have you already paid health premiums? You can use the Health Insurance Reimbursement program to offset cost of your health care premiums.
- Up to 100% of the single-party Kaiser premium rate
- Paperwork due December 30.
- Reimbursements now processed twice a year, not quarterly

Your Voice Matters! Bargaining Survey Coming Soon
Keep an eye out as we prepare to enter negotiations for the 2025-2028 collective bargaining agreement. We are happy with the progress from the last contract on pay raises, parity for part timers, and part time healthcare. But there is more work to do! Please be ready to complete the bargaining survey to help shape our negotiation proposals. If you have any questions, contact your chapter chairs or local union stewards.Your union reps are available should you need further support.
