A Message from Dr. Holt
Dear RFISD Community,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year. I hope you all had a restful summer and have come back recharged and ready to learn.
We have been busy working to ensure a great start to the new year, and we are excited to share some of the events happening across our district.
As you know, we have begun the transition to using ParentSquare as our official district communication tool. We hope that you will find this to be a helpful and streamlined approach to campus and district communication! As we navigate this new implementation, we understand that there will be a period of adjustment and learning; however, we have included several resources below that you may find useful.
In addition to our new ParentSquare communication tool, we will also be sharing a monthly district newsletter (like this one). We look forward to highlighting various activities and members of the Randolph community, and we hope you will find it to be a valuable resource throughout the year.
We understand the importance of communication, and we value our RFISD community. Thank you for trusting us with your children each day. We look forward to working together to make this another successful year.
Warm Regards,
Brian Holt, EdD
Superintendent

Randolph Review: Helpful links/resources for the RFISD community
ParentSquare Info
RFISD has transitioned to ParentSquare as our district-wide communication tool (you can click on the logo for a helpful Getting Started Guide)! We have also included some additional flyers that you may find helpful as you familiarize yourself with ParentSquare. We do realize that with the implementation of this new tool, there is going to be a bit of an adjustment period, and we appreciate your continued patience.
As the semester progresses, you will see an increased use of ParentSquare (district-wide) and StudentSquare (6th through 12th grades only), along with the elimination of some of the other communication tools that are currently still being used. For example, we have already started phasing out the Remind app, but it will eventually be eliminated completely.
You may have also noticed that the 1604 Gate Openings are no longer posted on the RFISD webpage but are instead being shared on the ParentSquare Calendar, which keeps them limited to only being accessible by our current RFISD parents, students, and staff.
On that note, we would like to request that individuals who do have access to our ParentSquare postings not share or post that information on other sites or within other non ParentSquare groups. This is a safety issue, and we appreciate your assistance and cooperation!
For additional ParentSquare resources, please visit our ParentSquare Hub, which can be found here.
