Board Policy: 443.71 Anti-Bullying
Creating a safe and welcoming school environment is essential for all students to feel valued, respected, and supported. When students experience bullying, it disrupts their sense of security and can impact their well-being and academic success.
The District prohibits students from bullying or harassing any person when either the aggressor and/or the target (victim) of the behavior is (1) at school or on school grounds; (2) at any school- sponsored activity; (3) using District-provided transportation; (4) under the supervision of a school district authority; or (5) otherwise within the scope of the District's disciplinary jurisdiction. This may include bullying or harassment that occurs outside of school via social media or technology based communication if the behavior has an impact on students within the school community. Here is the link to Board Policy: 443.71 Anti-Bullying.
Reporting bullying is a crucial step in maintaining a positive school culture, where everyone can thrive. If you are aware or have information about bullying or harassment at our school, please contact us at 262-335-5530. Students and families can also report items of concern through SpeakUP for Safety. Feel free to report any threats, concerns about student safety or well-being, or a safety issue in the schools, buses, or events via email (speakup@wbsd-schools.org) or text/call (262-357-3530).
