Dear Jefferson Families,


Thank you for all of those that attended our Preschool for All information night! Below, I have shared the presentation along with questions and answers that you had.


Some highlights from the meeting:

  • All new students will need to be screened prior to enrollment. Children can be screened once they are 2 yrs 9 mths (please complete the form below to request a screening)
  • All families/students returning for the 25-26 school year will be required to submit proof of income and participate in a parent interview (please complete the form below to request a parent interview)
  • Snack will be provided for all students beginning in January. A snack calendar will be sent home each month. If your child does not like the snack that will be provided, you can send your child with a snack from home.

Please contact me if you have additional questions regarding the Preschool for All Grant.


Please join us on December 10th @ 5:30 PM for our PAC meeting. Complete the RSVP if you would like to attend.


Please join us on December 16th for our Holiday Sing. Doors will open at 10:30 (AM program) and 2:00 (PM program). Please enter through Door 9 (by the flagpole). Once you enter the performance area, look for your child's room number and sit in that area.

Request for Parent Interview for Returning Students

If you intend on re-enrolling your child at Jefferson next school year, please complete the Request for A Parent Interview form below. This will assist us with scheduling a parent interview with you so that we meet the compliance requirements. Your child will not be required to participate in the developmental screening, as they have already been screened.

Enrollment for New Students

If you intend on enrolling another child for preschool at Jefferson for the remainder of the 24-25 school year or for the 25-26 school year, please complete the Jefferson Early Childhood Center Preschool Screening Questionnaire. After completing the questionnaire, you will receive a call to schedule a screening.

Butterfly Buddies

Butterfly Buddies are fabulous friends, helping hands, and wonderful workers.

Ethan

Ethan has demonstrated being a wonderful worker, entering the building with a smile or giving teachers a thumbs up. He is following the school routines throughout the day and joins peers during play. Great job, Ethan!

Kian

Kian is always willing to help and includes others.

Enrik

Enrik is very helpful in the classroom - cleaning up and putting cube chairs away without being asked.

Gabriel

Gabriel was a good friend and helped resolved a problem for another student on the bus. He was happy and proud to help a friend that was sad.

Layth

Layth is always willing to jump in and help his friends and teachers! He always comes to school with a smile and enjoys playing with everyone in Room 108! We love your outgoing personality Layth! Stay fabulous!

Elin

Elin is an observant and generous kiddo who always offers her peers help and support. She is able to show flexibility if things don’t go her way.

Maddie

Maddie is a sweet girl. She plays nicely with her friends in our classroom and with our friends from another classroom.

Olivia

Olivia is a wonderful worker; following the daily routine and demonstrating independence in self-help skills! We’re proud of Olivia’s willingness to participate in all activities presented. Keep up the great work!

Ahmez

Ahmez is so helpful when it comes to cleaning up. Today he cleaned up a mess from another student and said, "I just wanted to help".

Freddie

Freddie's proactive approach and strong relationship-building skills truly set him apart; his willingness to assist peers and teachers showcases his leadership ability. It's inspiring to see him thrive as he masters new skills, and we can't wait to see how he continues to develop—keep shining, Freddie!

Danny

Danny is comfortable and happy at school. He has made so much growth with his transitions and participation during circle time. He also does a great job following the routine in gym. Keep up the great work, Danny!
