A Note from Mrs. Pitts
Dear RES Families,
I wanted to inform you that Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) has been detected in the nearby town of Stratham. While our recess times and Outdoor Education times do not coincide with the periods when mosquitoes are most active, we are still committed to ensuring everyone’s safety. The town had already sprayed before school started but if you would like more information about town spraying you can visit this website. These actions are part of our ongoing efforts to minimize the risk of EEE and other mosquito-borne illnesses.
To further protect your child(ren), here are some additional measures you may want to consider:
Have your child(ren) wear long sleeves and pants, weather permitting.
Apply bug spray to your child(ren) before they come to school.
Please rest assured that the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and community is our top priority. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will keep you informed of any further updates.
Warmly,
Michelle Pitts
IMPORTANT NOTES:
The code for the BUS APP (First View) to track the buses is TWRG!

Teacher Questions and Support
If you are dropping your child off in the morning, coming into school for any reason or picking your child up, we would love to ask a favor. If you have a question about your child or want to understand more about a particular point in their day, you can email the teacher and ask for a check in, rather than an impromptu conference. This allows our staff to respond thoughtfully. This will be important as we come closer to Open House or other school-wide events. We are here to support you and welcome emails/calls to support your child(ren)!
Quick Notes
-If you drop your older child off in the front of the school (grades 3 and 4) and want to drop a first or second grader off at the same time to lessen the traffic in the back of the school, feel free. They know how to walk through the school and we have a staff member at the door to guide them outside! Kindergarten should still get dropped off in the back!
-PLEASE ensure your child is sitting and buckled in their seat at arrival and dismissal if your car is running or moving. We are getting quite nervous as we watch children not buckled or standing up as they drive in and out of the parking lot.

Picture Highlights: A Snapshot In Time
I wanted to share this incredible snapshot in time. These three photos were taken within 5 minutes of one another, outside, on the third day of school. There was so much grade level bonding and outdoor fun, I had to capture it for all of you!
