5 Essentials Survey is Open Until MARCH 28th
We want to hear from you! Each year, our staff, parents, and students take the 5Essentials Survey to show us how we are doing. This feedback is extremely helpful for us to make improvements as a school. Please take the 5 Essentials Survey before March 28th. You should take this survey for each school you have students attending, and not just once for the district.

No SummerU This Year (summer school)
As families begin making their summer plans, we are sorry to inform you that we will not offer a SummerU program like in recent years. We cannot have our typical summer programming in any of our buildings due to construction. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and look forward to returning to our SummerU program for the summer of 2026. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me, Chris Martelli - Director of Curriculum and Instruction, at cmartelli@saltcreek48.org.
News from the Nurse
Student Drop Off & Pick Up Procedures
Please follow the guidelines below to keep drop off/pick up running smoothly. Students can enter the building at 7:30 AM. Morning supervision ends with a 7:40 AM bell and all doors will be closed.
- Pull up as far as you can to allow multiple cars to unload at one time. Cones will be out for the last few parking spaces to help with this.
- Stay in single line (no double rows).
- Use Monterey to proceed to the line. Do not turn down Elder and turn around in a resident's driveway.
- Drive the speed limit when driving on Monterey and any streets around the school.
- Do not park on the east side of the building. This can be very dangerous, it blocks traffic and slows down the line.
- Do not wait and watch your child enter the building. If you need to watch your child enter the building, please park on the west side of the building and walk your child to the front entrance. We have a supervisor on duty from 7:30-7:40 am.
- If you do not see supervision in the back and it is after 7:40 AM then you must drive to the front of the building to buzz the door. All parents must sign their students in at the office.
