School safety is our priority and we have held our annual safety training for our faculty. Pre-K has been working hard on our fine motor skills!

First grade enjoyed their Friday reward time on the nature trail with officer Andrew!

Second graders learned all about science, what a scientist does, and how a scientist issues their 5 senses to make observations during experiments. Our scientists were able to use their senses to describe popcorn! If you asked them, they would say it sure was tasty!

We also got to work with our Pre-K reading buddies!

We made sedimentary rocks out of Starburst.

5th Graders went to Valle Crucis Park for a day of Science Stations.

6th grade hard at work investigating surface tension.

7th grade learning about weather fronts during lab.

8th grade learning about compounds versus mixtures during our chemistry unit.

In Art class, kindergarten through 8th grade students each made a small piece of our collaborative “aquarium.” They were inspired by the 1925 painting, Fish Magic, by Paul Klee.

Hunger & Health offers a backpack program that is able to deliver food directly to homes every 2 weeks. Each backpack contains a variety of child-friendly food items, and children up to the age of 18 are eligible to receive them.
