I hope you are enjoying your summer break! I am thrilled to be the new principal of Gaston Elementary. It's an honor to join such a wonderful and dedicated school community!

I am committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive. I look forward to building strong relationships with students and families. I believe open communication and teamwork are keys to success!

This year we will be starting a new process for announcing class lists.

When teachers return to the building on August 26, they will begin reaching out to those

students who will be in their classroom for this year via email or Remind.

They are looking forward to connecting with families!😊

Emergency contacts, going home plans, immunization information, and changes of address are just some of the things that we need to have verified each year. This is a required step in getting your student started at school each year.

PreK parents who have been waiting to hear about admittance will be happy to know 2024-25 students have all been contacted. Please check your voicemail and then return the call to confirm your child will be attending. If we do not receive a prompt return call, your child's spot will be opened to the next student on the waiting list. There is only one afternoon class being offered this year. We look forward to hearing from you! Preschool is SO fun!!

Kinder parents will begin scheduling Welcome Sessions for their students this week. These sessions will take place between 8:30-2:00 on September 5. Parents will be contacted by Kelly or Becca to schedule a time to bring students in.
