Hello, Rees Stars!

As we approach the end of another wonderful school year at Rees, I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for all of your support throughout the year. Your involvement and partnership are instrumental in creating a thriving school community. This year has been a year filled with growth, achievement, and community spirit. We are immensely proud of our students' academic achievement this year and look forward what's to come in the 2024-2025 school year!

Looking forward to the next school year, we are excited about the opportunities and initiatives planned. Stay tuned for updates and important events, for the upcoming year, through our website and social media channels.

Officer Chavez is joining our Rees Family as our new campus Police Officer. Officer Chavez possesses over 30 years of experience in Law Enforcement having worked at the Sheriff's Department, Waller Police Department, and Oakridge Police Department. He will be on campus daily, helping to keep us safe. Be sure to introduce yourself to him when you see him around the building!

Flem Rees Elementary School opened its doors to 650 students on August 20, 1983. It was the thirteenth elementary school built in the Alief Independent School District.
