PRESEASON WORKOUTS BEGIN

9th Grade preseason workouts begin February 22, 2024 and will be held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

Dates: February 22, 27, 29

March 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28

April 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25

Time: 6:30 am - 7:30 am (arrive at 6:15 am)

Location: Denmark High School gymnasium (glass doors below the gym)

On Thursday February 22, athletes will wear NAVY shirt and NAVY shorts.

Athletes will need:

* Up to date physical (on file through DragonFly or in hand to turn in to Coach Corley see below)

* Parent information form: https://forms.gle/1arKNVZanRdj88adA

* Athletic Shoes (for conditioning / weightlifting)

* Shower items (deodorant, towel, change of clothes, etc.)

* Navy/Black Shorts

* White/Navy/Black/Grey Shirts

Shorts/Shirts do not need to be Denmark. Plain shorts/shirts are perfect!

Piney and Desana Middle School students will take a bus to their schools to shower and prepare for the day. Athletes from any other middle school will shower at Denmark HS and be picked up by parent/guardian outside of the DHS gym at approximately 7:45 am.

REQUIRED PHYSICALS

Athlete's must have an up to date physical to participate in preseason conditioning/weights.

There are two ways to provide coaches with physicals:

1) Add Denmark High School to your athlete's existing Dragonfly account. This is easiest done on a laptop or desktop computer.

2) Bring a copy of the athlete's physical and turn in to Coach Corley during preseason weights.

Athletes will not be permitted to participate in preseason weightlifting/conditioning without a physical, insurance and parent information sheet on file.

2024 FOOTBALL PARENT/ATHLETE REGISTRATION MEETNG

The mandatory 2024 registration meeting will be held on SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 25 at 4:00 pm in the Denmark High School cafeteria. This meeting is for ALL parents and athletes who are interested in playing football for the 2024-2025 year.

Athletes and parents will hear from the Denmark Coaching Staff and the Denmark Danes Gridiron Club and will receive important information on registration, spring workouts, summer conditioning schedules and more! This is a mandatory meeting. Pizza and drinks will be served.
