Back to School Parent/Family Newsletter 2024-25
October 10, 2024
As we conclude Fall Conferences this evening, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for your ongoing support of your student(s). For those who were able to attend conferences, your commitment to engaging in your child's education is truly appreciated. If you couldn't make it this week, please remember that our staff is always just a phone call or email away. We value the connection between teachers and parents, and we're here to support you throughout the year.
This next week is both busy and brief, featuring our IMS Cares Color Run tomorrow, followed by Unity Day and the end of Midterm #1 next Wednesday. With the midterm approaching, it’s a great opportunity for students to share their grades and progress. I encourage you to discuss ways they can maintain their successes and improve in areas where they may be struggling.
Thank you!
Mr. Pauly

Emergency Response - Update
In the event of an emergency, our schools have comprehensive emergency response plans in place to protect our students, staff, and visitors. These plans are regularly reviewed and updated to align with best practices and local emergency management guidelines. Students and staff will participate in emergency drills throughout the year to teach safety response procedures. We practice drills for fire, tornado, and lockdown throughout the year. We teach situational awareness and practice drills in an age-appropriate manner.
The I Love U Guys Foundation has put together an explanation for parents about the Standard Response Protocols. If you receive questions from parents, please feel free to share with them this handout. You could also have it available as a handout at open houses.
