As a result of this year’s Elementary Math Pilot, the District will adopt Carnegie Clear Math next year as its new math curriculum for Grades K-5. The pilot team, which was composed of 36 teachers and administrators, chose Carnegie from among three programs that were piloted. It chose Carnegie because of its differentiation for all learners, its balance of rigor and conceptual understanding, and its inclusion of high quality math tasks. Carnegie is also the same math curriculum the District adopted last year for Grades 6-8.

Please be on the lookout for an informational letter from Mr. Fisher and Mr. Brauer seeking parent volunteers to assist with Field Day on 5/24.

Field Day is fun-filled day and your support will only make it better for our students!

Thank you to all of the families that have completed their child's registration for next school year.

Families that have not completed registration should do so as soon as possible. A completed registration will ensure that your child has a class placement for next year.

Families that will be moving and not attending Tioga next year should let the main office know so that all student records can be forwarded to the new school.

As a reminder, Tioga's bus lane (front drive off Memorial) and staff parking lot (off Mason) are closed to parent pick-up and drop-off during arrival and dismissal. This is especially important as we have seen a number of families attempt to utilize the bus lane to pick up their children. Not following Tioga's safety procedures creates a less safe environment for pedestrian traffic and slows down the arrival/dismissal process for all families.
