Update from Principal Jen Kravitz
December 6, 2024
Dear Mary Hogan Families,
We had a great first week back. The highlight for many of our oldest students was their performance on Thursday in a production of Romeo and Juliet at the Town Hall Theater. For the past 7 weeks, the four classes have been collaborating with Courageous Stage to learn their lines, write original songs, rehearse and then perform. And they rocked it! They all were active parts of the production and were risk-takers, pushing beyond their comfort zone. I will share the video of the production in the coming weeks and I encourage you to watch it, even if you don't have a 5th grader, to see the amazing learning and acting of our students.
Next week is also an exciting week at Mary Hogan. Student Council is sponsoring a Spirit Week! We have a number of exciting days, starting on Monday with Special Shirt Day. The Student Council reps encourage everyone to wear a shirt that is special to them for any reason. The full schedule for the week is below, so check it out and feel that HAWK SPIRIT!
💙, Jen
