The Weekly Update

Hello everyone,

It is beginning to feel and look a lot like Christmas! We are going into our last week of Semester 1 and Finals Week! Help make sure your student does his/her best on finals this week by getting plenty of rest. Please take a look at the updated Finals Schedule. Remember, Thursday is only a half day with busses running at 11:30, so your students will be home a little early on Thursday! Then we have a nice long break to recoup, before hitting the ground running in January for Semester 2!

It is going to be another busy week, let's keep our eye on the ball and finish the semester strong!

The school board will be voting on a new cell phone policy at their regularly schedule meeting on Tuesday, December 17th. You can see the full text of the policy on the csd13.org website, or by following this LINK. The school board meeting on December 17th will be your opportunity to give your opinion for or against this policy. If you would like to have your voice heard by the board, you may write a letter to Mindy Ivey at mivey@csd13.org and she will include it for the board to read, or you can come to the meeting and reserve a time for public comment. Thank you.

Just a reminder about the importance of attendance! Winter sicknesses and other priorities are taking their toll on many students' attendance. Please be mindful of the importance of getting to school everyday! Attendance really does matter, especially on the home stretch before the end of the semester. Let's finish strong by showing up everyday and giving our best!
