Great Start To The School Year

LHS students are off to a fantastic start to the school year. Things are in full swing as fall athletics begin as well as clubs and activities for students to join. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year.

Yearbook

Attention parents of 9th grade students: The 2024 Middle School yearbooks are available for pick up in Mrs. Yourk's room, B201. There are a limited number of extra copies available for sale ($55 cash or check to Town of Lunenburg).

Any 10th-12th grade student who hasn't picked up their High School yearbook, please see Mrs. Cooney in the Main Office to pick it up. At this time there are not any extra copies available for sale, but we will let you know if there are any extras soon.

Spain Trip

The LHS trip to Spain happening over April break has two spots remaining. Students interested in signing up should see Ms. Radford in B203 as soon as possible for more information. Registration will close for good on September 30th.

Chromebook Insurance

Lunenburg Public Schools and K-12 Tech have teamed up to offer 1-year Accidental DamageProtection for school-owned devices. Coverage can be purchased starting on August 26, 2024, with the link below. Coverage must be purchased by September 20, 2024 to be qualified for repairs.

College and Career Preparation Meetings

Starting the week of September 9th, our counselors will be having College and Career Preparation Meetings with all seniors to share information about preparing for post-graduation.

Senior Seminars

Senior Seminars will be starting in the upcoming weeks to support seniors with their post-secondary planning. Please stay tuned for more information.

September College Rep Visits

College Rep Visits will be starting the week of September 16th. All visits will be held in the School Counseling Office. Students can access the full schedule and sign up to attend visits on Naviance.

Current Schedule of College Rep Visits September 16th - 20th:

Monday 9/16: UMass Lowell (8:15 a.m.), University of New Hampshire (1:00 p.m.)

Tuesday 9/17: Lasell University (1:00 p.m.)

Wednesday 9/18: College of the Holy Cross (9:30 a.m.), Suffolk University (11:45 a.m.)

Thursday 9/19: Plymouth State University (8:15 a.m.), Connecticut College (8:15 a.m.)

Friday 9/20: Westfield State University (8:15 a.m.)

PSAT

The PSAT will be held on October 22nd. Mr. Cuillo will be sharing additional information in the upcoming weeks.

Middles school fall sports begin next Wednesday! Make sure to register in Final

Forms if interested in either Co-Ed cross country or Field Hockey. Both programs
