Shout Outs from Parents & Students
Please use THIS LINK to provide a shout-out to a staff member who deserves a pat on the back!
Ms. Purcell: We are writing to share with you how we pleased with our daughter's teacher - Mrs Purcell. Mrs Purcell, our daughter's Esol teacher is amazing, we feel she is always there for us and for our daughter. She is always taking care also with other teachers.
Ms. Shrote: Ms. Shrote helped me out in my drumstick grip and mallet rhythm.
Ms. Hutchins: Mrs. Hutchins has always been there for me. She makes everything so much easier and has an amazing personality. She is so sweet and kind and will help you whenever you ask❤️. I think Mrs. Hutchins doesn't get enough credit for all that she has done for her students and fellow teachers.
Ms. Patorgis: Middle school is new to me and Ms. Patorgis is always in the cafeteria helping 6th graders since they are new and still may not know things about middle school.
Congratulations to the Jr. Cougars Cross Country Team
Taylor Road won their two cross country races at Wesleyan over the weekend of September 28th. Earning medals for being in the Top 10 for the boys were: Cole, Michael, Dominic, Matteo and Levi. Earning medals for the girls were: Megan, Caroline, Alexis, Mia and Tamar. Well done for both teams. Next up: going for their 6th straight State Championship this next weekend in Cochran. Good luck!!!
PAWS Winners
From: Kevin Wallace
I chose Mrs. Douglas for the PAWS award because she has a positive attitude, accepts responsibility, works hard and shows respect. Seeing her daily is always a treat because she generally has a smile on her face. She is an emerging leader in this building based on her PLC work. She is often providing solutions to problems and learning new things (illuminate) to help her and the PLC. If we ever need anything, she often volunteers to do what's necessary. Thank you, Mrs. Douglas, for being a phenomenal teammate and for all that you do for the TRMS community!
From Pam Douglas
I choose Lindsay Meekhof for the PAWS award for the week of October 7th. As our Social Studies content chair, she has been instrumental in ensuring the Social Studies content stays on par with district requirements. With so many changes implemented this school year in Social Studies, Lindsay has been on board with getting our PLC's necessary information that is expected of us from the district. She continues to compliment us on a job well done and often lets us know that she is willing to help with questions, communication, etc., in any way that she can. I appreciate all of the efforts that she has shown in Social Studies, and I am delighted to pass the PAWS award to someone who deserves the recognition such as Lindsay Meekhof.
PBIS Teacher Recognition
Please congratulate Mr. Pouncey on being our Staff winner for the month of September. Mr. Pouncey exhibits all the character traits of a TRMS staff member who is successful in helping his fellow colleagues. Mr. Pouncey is a valuable team member of our school, “who always steps in whenever there is a need.” Thank you Mr. Pouncey and enjoy your parking spot for the month.
