Message from Principal Eliason
Welcome back Shadowlawn families! We are so excited to welcome all of our Seahawks back for another year of learning and growing together. Our school theme for the year is hidden treasure! Our catch phrase is "X Marks the Spot: Finding the hidden treasures of learning."
Please join us this Monday August 12th for Meet the Teacher! Grades PreK-2 will be from 9:00-10:00 and grades 3-5 from 9:30-10:30. This year we'll be mailing postcards with the name and room number of your child's homeroom teacher. On the day of Meet the Teacher you'll be able to go directly to your child's classroom and skip the lines! There you'll have a chance to visit your child's classroom and meet their teacher. Please be sure to share with your child's transportation information with your child's teacher when you visit.
Our first day of school is Tuesday August 13th. Parents & caregivers will be welcome to walk their children to class on the first day. All parents & caregivers must exit campus prior to the first bell, but we want you to be able to capture that first day of school picture!
Amber Eliason
SLE Principal
