Dear Golden Families,

I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving with your family and friends. It is hard to believe that Monday (tomorrow) when we come back, we will be in December! Although we only have three weeks of school before Winter Break, this is an important three weeks, and your help is requested in making sure students come to school if they can! Attendance matters!

Please be on the look-out for our Golden Spirit Wear! It will be on sale very soon, and we can't wait!

STEM Saturday is open to students in Grades 2-6 who have one or more absences from August 27th - December 6th. This is a great way to make up absences and engage in fun and educational activities, grounded in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This will be an engaging day of learning and fun led by Mrs. Taberski and one or more Golden Teachers.

Our first STEM Saturday will take place on December 14th from 8am-12pm at Golden. Two meals will be provided. We would love to see your child there. To sign up, please click this link by December 6th. One absence will be recoverable if attending the full 4 hours.

*It might be a great opportunity to do some Christmas shopping or wrapping while your child is busy engaged in STEM!
