Dear Walden Families,

This week was tons of fun at Walden School! We had a blast on Wednesday during our all school assembly with Matt Wilhelm! Matt is an X-Games winner who was invited to our school to share his story of overcoming obstacles and never giving up. He also performed incredible bike tricks that students were really excited to watch. Such fun happening at Walden!

As a reminder, we have no school on Monday. Have a wonderful weekend and we'll see you back on Tuesday!

Save the Date for the Walden Talent Show!

Come join us on March 6th for our Inaugural Walden Talent Show!! 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will be showcasing their talents at 4:00 PM in the big gym. All students are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent - this is not a drop off event! The show should run about 75 minutes. See you there! Digital Citizenship Learning from the Library

Digital citizenship is taught in the Library Media Center throughout the year, and we know many parents are working to encourage healthy technology behaviors at home. This week’s quick 2-minute video provides parents with tips to explore and discuss generative AI - artificial intelligence - with their kids. AI technology is developing at a breathtaking pace and our kids will need to learn how to use it and, more importantly, how to think critically about what it produces.
