Hello Navigators,

Thank you to all of the support for our amazing teachers and staff over this past week. We were so appreciative of all the food, gifts and affirmations. Thanks to our PTO for organizing meals and snacks every day. This is an amazing school community and staff.

Our School Site Council meeting was changed and will meet on Tuesday, May 14th at 7:30 AM in room E1. We will meet to review progress on our school plan. We will also discuss some budget items for next year and other programming. You do not need to be on the council to attend the meeting. You can come in person or join virtually with this link.

On 5/15/24 we will hold our Leadership Day in the morning and our Open house at night. Please see this form to RSVP for our daytime Leadership Day event. We still have space available. Please note the morning event is focussed on our school wide Leader in Me participation. This is not the time for visiting your child's classroom. Those classroom visits will be at Open House that evening from 5:30-7.

Our Field day will be on 5/31/24. Sign up here to volunteer.

The BASE PROGRAM provides Before & After School care. If you are interested in enrolling your Child, please contact them through their website.

We are so thrilled with out STEAM program. STEAM stands for Science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. We have Ms. Pauels who teaches the STEM parts of STEAM and Ms. Harmon who teaches Art. Check out the STEAM Newsletter for the latest information.

Oceanside Unified School District has partnered with Care Solace to help families in need of mental health support. This services can help quickly find available services. To access this service call 888-515-0595 or visit their website at www.caresolace.com/ousd. If you have any questions about this or other school counseling services please reach out.

We know there are times when issues come up that need to be resolved. OUSD has created a chain of communication that allows for an efficient resolution process. This is now located on our school’s website under “Our School” called Chain of Communication.
