Happy Thanksgiving
As we approach this season of gratitude, we want to take a moment to express our thanks to each and every member of our wonderful elementary community. We are grateful for the support, kindness, and dedication that our students, parents, and staff have shown throughout the year. Your involvement makes our school a warm and welcoming place for everyone.
May your Thanksgiving be filled with joy, laughter, and of course, delicious food! Thank you for being a vital part of our community. Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving!

AND THE WINNER IS...

Congratulations to all the Bobcats that participated in the sticker contest. We had 49 entries! The votes are in and entry number 23 is the winner. This sticker was created by fourth grader Layla Hu. Thanks to all our Bobcats who participated in this event by offering an entry, voting, or both.

WINTER BOOK FAIR HOSTED BY OUR PTO:

Our Winter Book Fair will take place from Thursday, December 12th through Wednesday, December 18th. It will be open for the Winter Craft Fair on December 12th from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. In order for the book fair to be successful we need help. Here is a link to the volunteer sign up. Families are encouraged to set up an e-wallet. See more information here.

(What is an e-wallet ? No more bills stuffed in backpacks! At the Scholastic Book Fair, kids shop without cash thanks to eWallet, a digital payment account for purchases at the Fair. Family and friends contribute funds. Then kids choose their own books. It’s convenient, simple, and secure. It starts on your school’s Book Fair homepage. A child’s family follows a link to create a free eWallet account. There are three ways to fund an account: Add money with a credit card, use funds from a previous eWallet, or invite friends and extended fam to contribute. Because funds are available immediately, a child can shop the Fair with eWallet right away. Families can use a leftover balance to fund an eWallet for a future Fair.)

HOLIDAY FAIR:

Ben Hem PTO is hosting our annual Holiday Fair on Thursday, December 12th form 6:30 - 7:30 pm. This is a craft fair for children! Students are encouraged to host a table and sell their items to other members of our community. You can sign up here to reserve space.

BOBCAT BINGO FUNDRAISER - SAVE THE DATE: JANUARY 31, 2025

Family Bingo Night will take place on Friday, Janaury 31st. This family event will take the place of our AEO - An Evening Out Event. We are excited to host BINGO! There will also be raffle and silent auction items to add more fun to the event. We hope to see you there. (See the PTO flyer below)

• Nov. 28 & 29 - No School - Thanksgiving
• Dec 11 - Early Release Day - School dismisses at 12:05 pm

Please check out the Lost and Found and take anything that belongs to you. This is also a reminder to label hats, mittens, coats, sweatshirts and water bottles. If it has a name, it will be returned. We are planning to donate items in the Lost and Found before winter break.
