Welcome Back, Herbert Green Middle School Students and Families!

We are thrilled to welcome each of you to a new school year at Herbert Green Middle School! We hope you had a wonderful and relaxing summer. It is hard to believe, but school starts in less than one week! As a reminder, school starts August 7th. It is an early release day, so school will be released at 1:32 pm.

As we embark on this journey together, our theme this year is "Better Together." We believe that by working together as a community—students, families, and staff—we can achieve amazing things. Our commitment to support, inspire, and uplift one another will make this year truly exceptional. Let's embrace every opportunity to learn, grow, and make lasting memories.

Friday, August 2nd - Class schedules will be live today on Aeries as of 4:00 pm. In order to access your students' schedule, you must sign in and complete the authorizations. Please call our office on Monday if you need assistance signing in, 530-622-4668

Tuesday, August 6th - Back-to-School Night! See the flyer below for more info. Families are welcome on campus as of 5:00pm where we will have local clubs and organizations, sports info, PE clothes pre-order for 7th and 8th grade students, Pizza Plus for sale and more! Classes will open at 6:00pm and we we will follow a bell schedule as students would during a school day to meet their teachers and find classrooms. We will not have printed schedules available at Back-to-School Night. Make sure you are able to access the schedule on Aeries

Wednesday - The first day of school! Students can arrive to campus after 7:25am. They are welcome to head to the cafeteria for a free breakfast and classes will start at 7:50am. Wednesdays are our early release days and students will be dismissed at 1:32pm

Thursday and Friday - These days will be our regular release time of 2:15pm
