Varsity Football Advances to Round 2 State Playoffs!
Congratulations and good luck to our Varsity Football team as they advance to the second round of the State Championship! In an exciting game, the Bears defeated Cedartown last week, 51 to 44! The Bears take on Central Carrollton on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Go Bears!
State Runner Up - Competition Cheer!
Congratulations to our Varsity Competition Cheer team for their State Runner-Up finish at the 2024 State Championship!
Cambridge Marching Band
The Cambridge Marching Band headed to the Bands of America Grand Nationals in Indianapolis last week where they competed against 112 other high school marching bands from around the country and walked out with the highest rating, Superior, for their performance entitled Unraveled. Only two bands from Georgia traveled to Grand Nationals this year and only eight Georgia schools have competed there in the last ten years.
Months of rehearsals, over four football fields worth of fabric, sweat, tears, and over 530 hours of practice all lead up to this unforgettable opportunity. What an experience for these students to end the season with such a spectacular performance at Grand Nationals. It was Cambridge's first appearance on the National stage, but it certainly won't be the last.

GSFAPP for HOPE and Zell Miller
Georgia Student Finance Commission, which handles HOPE and Zell Miller Scholarships, advises all seniors to complete the GSAFAPP application on GAfutures.org. The application is good for 10 years and needs to be done only once in a student’s college career. Create a GAfutures.org account and apply as soon as possible. The deadline to submit is your graduation day from Cambridge High School.
