Thank you Warriors for your support in the Big Ol' Baskets Campaign!
Because of your support, we were able to provide a Thanksgiving basket to 21 families! It may not seem like a lot considering how many students we serve (3300+), but it meant the world to these families. Each basket consisted of lots of well stocked canned goods and a $25 gift card. A huge thank you to our Social Worker, Mrs. Swanson for organizing this effort. You all are very much appreciated for your generosity and we are happy that we were able to keep this annual tradition alive.

What can Family Engagement Liaisons do?
Family Engagement Liaisons and Specialists are valuable resources for schools because they know a great deal about your child’s school and community. They facilitate meaningful parental involvement in the school, enhance children's learning ability, and help parents identify and secure valuable community and educational resources. They can coordinate and implement outreach to families. They can do home visits, and coordinate and present parent workshops.

__________________________________________________________________
Hello, my name is Cynthia Juarez, and I've been with GPISD for 6 years, with the last 2 years spent in high school. I'm excited to be stepping into this new role where I can support our students, especially those facing challenges with behavior. I truly believe that all behavior is a form of communication, and my goal is to help our students develop healthier, more appropriate ways to express themselves. I'm looking forward to working together to create an environment where every student can thrive.
