May Family Messenger
2024
Dear Marthasville Students and Families,
Lumen registration for the 24-25 school year can be completed starting in July. If you do it before then, you will lose info once Lumen updates to the new school year. All registration for EVERY child needs to be updated (even if your info hasn't changed) every single year. There are forms we need completed prior to your child starting school in August. If you need tech support, we can make arrangements with you in August to use one of our devices to get the registration complete.
In the next couple weeks, anyone with medication in the Nurse's office will need to make arrangements to pick it up. Medication will not be sent home with a student. All medication needs to be picked up before the last day of school. Please call Nurse Annie if you have questions.
Please call the office by 2:00 with any changes that are made to afternoon dismissal plans. We would also like to share a friendly reminder that dismissal is 2:45 and all students need to be picked up in a timely manner.
Check with your learners to see if they have returned their library books. Mrs. Bartel and Ms. Wiskur will send home notices if your child is missing any books.
Class supply lists will be posted by the end of May on our webpage, FB page, and through email.
If your child will not be returning to Marthasville in August, please call the office and let Cheryl know, along with a reason (moving, homeschooling, etc). Official class lists are not sent out until August, but we need a rough draft before leaving for summer vacation. If you know of any families who have either not enrolled their child(ren) yet, or are moving to our area for next school year, have them reach out to our office as well. If you are submitting a transfer request either to or from Marthasville, OR have a child entering 4th grade for the 24-25 School Year, you must send in an updated Proof of Residency. Please do this as soon as possible so Mrs. Brueggemann can update our records.
If you ordered a yearbook, they will be delivered by May 17. I will post a notice to our FB page when they will be coming home.
We are so close to the finish line! This month is packed with events and fun activities. MAP testing is over and FastBridge assessments will be complete by May 10. I love seeing how much growth our students have made this year. We appreciate the ongoing support and partnership in your child's education!
Our last two days of school are modified days. We dismiss at 11:50 on May 20 and 21. Report cards will be emailed on May 29. Please let me know if you do not receive it!
As always, if you ever have questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out! You can call me, email, or message on our Facebook page. I am here to serve and lead with love and care.
Have an awesome MAY everyone!
Most Caring,
Mrs. Kristen Daffron
