A Message from Principal Lee
We are off to a great start! We have enjoyed getting to know your students and their interests. We have built the foundation for an incredible year of learning. Mr. Yang led a fabulous fall fun day! We had our first Blellow Day and took a whole school picture. We are excited to see your students learn and grow. You are welcome to visit your child at school! Thank you! Principal Lee

Notes from Our Specialists
MUSIC with Mr. Englin and Ms. Hail! In general music, we are starting the year off by learning about steady beat and rhythm by using body percussion and auxiliary percussion instruments to play along with popular and folk music. In instrumental music, all instrument tests have been completed, and small group lessons are just getting started. We can’t wait to share our progress with you! Thank you for the music!
PHYSICAL EDUCATION with Mr. Yang! In our gym class, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, were introduced to invasion games, and started by playing Capture the Flag. For PreK, K, and 1st grade, we focused heavily on spacial awareness by playing different tag games, and other running games.
Students coming to PE MUST WEAR TENNIS SHOES! (No Crocs, Slides, Sandals, Slippers, Boots, ETC)
SCIENCE with Ms. Weiss! We have been working hard to understand what is expected as we learn about science this year. All grades have started their first unit. Pre-K is learning how to use learning centers and kindergarten is going on a big nature adventure. First grade started a unit all about plants, while second grade is exploring landforms. Third grade is learning about motion and forces and in fourth grade it's all about energy and egg racers. Finally, fifth grade is solving mysteries about matter and their properties.
