We want parents!

Dear MSD 15 Parents,

We seek three parents to participate in the MSD 15 Strategic Planning Committee.

The Board of Education and Superintendent Davila highly value parent feedback regarding the future direction of education in Marquardt School District 15. Your unique perspective is crucial in the planning process for our vision and strategic plan for our district. We are inviting you to be a voice in shaping your child's education.

You will be part of a diverse and inclusive group of stakeholders (parents, community members, staff, and students) to develop the district's next strategic plan, which will articulate the direction and priorities of the district for the next 3-5 years. The strategic planning team will develop the plan in four sessions over the next few months. Your involvement will help ensure the plan honors the perspectives of stakeholders committed to our community.

All meetings will be at the district office. If you speak another language, we can provide a translator for the meetings. In addition, we can provide child supervision if you need it. We want to ensure your comfort and convenience during the sessions. To be considered, we ask that all members attend at least 3/4 of the sessions. The session days and times are below:

Session #1: Who Are We & What Do We Do? September 9, 2024 9am-3pm

Session #2: How Are We Doing? October 1, 2024, 9a-3 pm

Session #3: What Are Our Priorities? November 4, 2024 9a-noon

Session #4: What Is Our Strategic Direction? December 11, 2024 9a-noon

The deadline to submit interest for the team is 4:00 p.m. Friday, August 23. Mike Szopinski will communicate with all potential strategic plan parents.
