Family Perception Survey 2024
We need your feedback! Currently we have 45 responses out of 240 possible. Can you take a minute and do this survey to help us know how we are doing as a building and a district?
All of this is part of school improvement which is required at the State level. We use this information to help improve our schools and our school system as a whole. Thank you for being part of the process!
You can click the survey at the bottom right hand corner to open it up in its own window.

Family Connection: Sick Day of Come to School?
Stay home or come to school:
It is that time of year again! How do you know if your child should stay home or go to school? We understand that this is a difficult decision. This past week I talked to the kids about "little sick" and "big sick" to help them understand how to know if they should stay home. I described little sick as not feeling great like having a little cough, runny nose, or sore throat. It changes to big sick if they have a fever, are throwing up, or having diarrhea. If your child experiences any of those symptoms they should stay home for 24 hours. It is important to talk to your child before school and evaluating their symptoms.
Return to school with modifications: If your child has restrictions when they come back to school, please write a note (blue notes). If you email the office, please always include the classroom teacher so they are aware of this as well. Please note, if you are going to have your child stay in from recess, we will need a doctor note. The doctor note should include:
- Why they are staying inside and/or sitting out of physical activities (Ex: gym)
- How long they need to stay inside and/or sit out of physical activities.
Typically if your child is well enough to attend school, we would like them to do all of the activities we do at school. We will work with you and your doctor if it is necessary due to an illness/injury.
Make & Take Volunteer Information
Thank you for all the families that signed up to come in for Make & Take on Friday, December 20th. We plan on beginning at 8:30 in the classrooms. Make & Take will last from 8:30-10:30am that morning.
Important information:
- Arrive to school at 8:00am
- You will need your driver's license to check in
- All volunteers will gather in the teacher's lounge after arrival. We will be going over the crafts with you so you will be able to help your classroom
- Teachers will assign you to work with groups of children. It is a busy time so we need your help with the kids so they can complete their projects.
- We appreciate you helping! After your projects are complete, please exit the building through the office so you can "check out."
