Regular attendance is important for the foundation of our academic success.

This year our goal is for all students to attend daily. This month of September we will be sharing some exciting activities and tips for families to join in.

Many of our students have been here every single day in August so lets keep that momentum going.

September 3-6th is our Attendance Spirit Week so join in the fun to promote 100% attendance!

Next week on Wednesday, September 11 we invite you to join us for our Back to School Night.

Our Laurel lunch supervisor staff together with our wonderful Nutrition Services staff would like to remind everyone that our students have the opportunity for healthy meals every day.

Fruits, vegetables, and all kinds of healthy food is available at lunch for your child to enjoy!

Are you interested in making our school a better place? We would love to have your voice in our School Site Council. We meet every Third Tuesday of the month. There are just a few spots available, so please contact our school office as soon as possible so we can sign you up to join.

On Wednesday, August 28, we had out first fire/evacuation drill of the school year. It was a great success! Teachers prepared the students ahead of time so that everyone knew what to do. Students stayed calm and all lined up in an orderly fashion. Thank you Laurel Elementary for a wonderful smooth practice!

Vista Community Clinic is offering workshops called the Dad's Club+

Please note that TK and Kinder are dismissed at 1:05 every day until August 30th. They will join us in our regular schedule starting on September 3rd

Minimum Day - Every Wednesday 1:05 Dismissal for TK - 5th grade students.

Next Minimum Day is August 28th.
