Staff of the Month - Shannon Milton
Mrs. Milton is in her 8th year at the high school campus, where she serves as the campus nurse. In addition, she also serves as our district nurse, where she helps lead a team of nurses dedicated to supporting the entire district. Mrs. Milton is an essential part of our campus, providing exceptional care and leadership to our students and staff members. This year, she has been instrumental in managing flu outbreaks and responding to various medical needs. She is always calm and collected and handles any and all things that are thrown her way. This year, she has been working to organize our Shattered Dreams event, which details the impacts of distracted and impaired driving. She is an amazing colleague and team-member and we are grateful for her positivity that she has each and every day!
Student of the Month - Jaxon Berryhill
Jaxon Berryhill is an outstanding student-athlete and leader at Caddo Mills High School. A four-year varsity soccer player, she has earned multiple district honors, including Goalkeeper of the Year. Beyond athletics, Jaxon excels academically, earning Academic All-District recognition and serving as Junior Class Vice President. As a National Honor Society member, she has contributed to numerous volunteer efforts, demonstrating her dedication to both her school and community. Dependable, hardworking, and a role model to her peers, Jaxon embodies excellence in all she does. Congratulations, Jaxon, on this well-deserved recognition!

Drug Testing
The District is unwavering in its commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy learning environment for all its students. We understand that the use of illegal drugs poses a serious health and safety risk to the user, those associated with the user, and potentially to the public. Therefore, as a proactive measure to keep our students and schools drug-free, the District requires the random drug-testing of any student in grades 7-12 who chooses to participate in school-sponsored extracurricular activities or request a permit to park a vehicle on school property. Random drug testing is conducted throughout the school year.
