Heritage Happenings
December 2024
January 2025
Dear Heritage Families,
Happy New Year! We hope everyone enjoyed their time off and had lots of relaxation. As we kick off the new semester and begin the final stretch towards the end of the school year, we wanted to express how much we missed everyone over the extended break. Thank you for your additional support during the AMI days. Winter break was a wonderful opportunity to recharge, but we are excited to be back in the school and continue our learning journey together.
We are looking forward to a productive and successful end to the year. We have some exciting things planned for the coming months, and we are confident that we will finish strong!
In the meantime, please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Your Admin Team,
Dr. Kimberley Walters, Val Sutton, Katie Will, & Melrick Bogier
Leader in Me - Habit 4
In January we are focusing on our fourth habit, Think Win-Win, which requires at least two people. When each person benefits from the relationship, then both win. What does this mean? When you think Win-win you want everyone to be successful. When there is a problem, you look for a solution that works for everyone. You understand that you don't need to put someone down to get what you want. You believe that we all can win! You believe in the importance of teamwork.

In Case You Missed It - More from WSD
Inclement Weather & AMI Update
As we approach the colder months, we want to re-share the District communication that has information regarding the WSD's inclement weather procedures for the 2024-25 school year. This year, snow days one and two will be traditional snow days. After our second snow day this year, we will switch to AMI (alternative methods of instruction) for snow days three through seven. Read more on what to expect this winter here. View AMI assignments here.
