Spring Sports & Sunshine Are On The Way!
Spring practices are underway, and our first spring contests will begin as early as this Saturday here at North Point as the baseball team will be participating in a Jamboree with FHC, Lafayette, and FZN.
We are very proud of the accomplishments of our student organizations and teams from this past winter, and are exciting to see many of our student athletes pick up a new sport or activity this spring.
Don't forget that the spring parents meeting for all high school spring sports is Tuesday, 3/11 at 6:00pm in the Auditorium.
Winter Sports and Activities Feedback Survey (High School Only)
Did you participate in a winter sport or activity? Please take a few minutes to answer a couple of questions to let us know about your experience. You can find the survey here, survey responses are anonymous.
Spring Concessions Need Your Help
Concession sales make up the majority of fundraising money for our Grizzly Way Booster Club. We rely on parent volunteers to staff the concession stand so we can continue to give back to our students!
The booster club has given back over $100,000 in just about 3 years of giving, thank you so much for your continued support!
Use the link below to sign up for spring concessions today, $20 will go back to the organization of your choice when you fill a shift.

Winter Sports & Activity Updates
Girls Wrestling
Congrats to Faith Abunaw who is All-State after a 4th place finish at this year's MSHSAA State Wrestling Championships! Katharine Tyson, Lucy Ullery, and Faith Hall also made the trip to Columbia and wrestled well against the very best competition in the state!
Be sure to follow NP Wrestling on social media to track All-Conference Post Season honors, the ladies had a number of girls who made first or second team all conference, and Coach Kakrah won GAC Central Coach of the Year!
Boys Wrestling
The Boys Wrestling Team had a great showing at the 2025 Wrestling Championships, they had a solid 12th place finish as a team, and produced three All-State Performances. Leo Buchheit finished 3rd, Brody Kell finished 4th, and 4 time State Medalist Kaden Purler finished 6th place.
Be sure to check in on NP Wrestling's X or Instagram page to see all of the athletes who were named All-Conference.
Great season gentlemen!
Girls Basketball
The girls basketball team wrapped a hard fought season after dropping a close game to FZW in the District Tournament quarterfinals.
A big thank you to all of our seniors this year, many who were with the program for 4 years!
Boys Basketball
The boys team had a great district tournament run and nearly upset the #1 seeded Holt Indians in the Semifinals after defeating Warrenton in the quarterfinals.
The team showed tremendous grit, and played well in both games. Way to finish strong gentlemen!
Need a Grizzly Hat?
The activities office has two different styles of fitted, New Era "NP" hats available in the Activities Office 618. We do have limited sizes, so you'll need to hurry if you want one, we won't be able to hold any hats.
They are $35 per hat, swing by the office and get yours today!
North Point Prom 2025
Prom will be on Saturday, April 5 at The Barn at Woods Fort in Troy, Missouri from 7 pm - 10 pm. Tickets are $50 each and include soda, water, and light appetizers. Tickets can be purchased online starting March 14. Don't forget all fines need to be paid before you can purchase a ticket. More information to come about online ticket sales, but please mark your calendars now.
Attendance - Sports and Activities
Having great attendance is a must for athletes and activities participants. Not only does being in class regularly help with your grades, but it is required to be able to participate on a day when your sport or activity has a contest or game!
Our North Point parents have been great so far about keeping my office up to date, thank you for your efforts! Here are a few quick reminders:
- If your student will miss all or a portion of a school day that falls on the same date as a game/contest, this absence will need to be pre-approved by Dr. Adams.
- Parents should email Dr. Adams at least 24 hours in advance of the absence on a contest day, including partial absences for doctors appointments. He will respond back approving or denying the ability to play/participate.
- Students should bring a doctor's note back with them to give to the attendance office upon their return.
- Remember, any absence that isn't pre-approved (including leaving school for lunch or for forgotten items at home) on the day of a contest will make the student ineligible to compete that day.
- Be careful with Fridays or days prior to breaks, if the contest is on a Saturday and the absence occurs on a Friday, a student will not be eligible to compete on Saturday.
- All absences should be called in or emailed to the attendance office, and absences from a practice should be communicated directly with coaches and sponsors.
Thank you for your continued help!
