Over a six-week period, 22 Delaware Upward Bound students collaborated to change the role of how technology, information, and research can be hands-on and benefit The Nanticoke River Watershed Conservancy. Implementing over 40 projects in 6 weeks, informational skills, science, and librarian standards revealed the interactive process of applying Informational Science knowledge. Walk away with ideas and tools to begin your own community change through librarianship through various stations created for participants. Serving the community at large involving library-based practices was a success. Bringing your computer will also help with this workshop-hands-on session! Speakers: Harry Brake, Melisa Velasquez, Briana Bradley

Library Media Specialist Kelley Wilson will release the book titles for next year in May, so you can plan to purchase and make them available to students.
In September, you can start promoting to students. It’s great if you can get a club or teacher involved! Students can read throughout the year, and then we will vote again in April.
Let Ms. Wilson know if you have any recent titles for Grades 6-12 that should make the list!
Membership Update
We are in the process of updating how we are recording member information. (Hopefully) the next time you go on to renew online, you will be required to enter information (name, phone number, library, email, etc.) Right now, I will be working on entering all information by hand.
In the past, if you paid with paypal online and did not fill out a form to send in, we have basic information, including your personal email address, and possibly your home address. Many did not tell which library they are with.
Please take a moment and reply to this email (keep in mind that if you do "Reply All" everyone on the list will get all of your information. This is what I need (feel free to copy and paste to fill in what is below)
