Principal's Post
Crooked Lake Families,
We have had a great start to the school year. The Community Picnic and Walk-a-thon was a great time to connect with families, and we were truly grateful for your generosity. And thank you to all who gave their time and effort, making it a success. The event raised funds that will directly enhance our students experiences at our school this school year.
October 3, we will have Andover High School homecoming parade at our building for our students.
Thank you for signing up for conferences. Conferences are a great time to connect, and check-in on all of the learning happening here at school. There are still spots available for October 3, 7, and 8.
On October 11, we have a school presentation called, "Be the Nice Kid". Our speaker will meet with each grade level, and has a powerful message for our students which we hope will be impactful. Looking forward to this new experience for our student body.
There are some dates that students do not have school coming up. October 4, 7, 17 and 18.
Thank you for all you are doing to make it a great start for our school. We really appreciate all you are doing.
Take care.
Sam Anderson

Nurse's News
Hello Crooked Lake Families!
We are so happy to see the kid's happy faces again! Please remember that if your student has a new health condition or medication for school to call or email us!
We are also in need of donations of shorts and pants for boys and girls! Youth sizes XS-XL are needed for the many accidents and messes at school. You can send to school with your student to drop off or bring to the main office anytime, we would really appreciate it!
Remind your student to WASH THEIR HANDS frequently! Before eating, after the bathroom and when they get home from school. We are hoping for a healthy year for all!

Library's Latest
Hello Crooked Lake Families,
We are thrilled to announce that so far this year, our students have checked out over 2,000 books! In library lessons, students have been learning how to find their "just-right" books by making a connection and choosing titles that speak to their hearts—it’s all about getting excited to read!
Our library is a busy place, and we're working on several projects to make our collection of resources even more accessible for students. We could really use your help! If you're interested in volunteering or donating, please check the volunteer section for our current needs.
Thank you for supporting our library and fostering a love of reading!

I’m forever grateful for the time volunteers give to our staff and students. We could not do all this without their support and hard work. Thank you for making a difference!
