March 2025 Newsletter
We are excited to kick off our youth Football and Cheerleading registration for the 2025 season. Our first registration date is this Saturday, March 15 at North Gwinnett High School's Weight Room (on the back circle). Walk up registration is for both football players and cheerleaders!
Registration must be completed BOTH ONLINE AND IN PERSON since we are required to collect paper copies of some documents, but payment IS completed online. If you register and pay online on March 15, you will get a $25 discount!
To complete the registration process, you will need to submit paper copies of several documents. Please see the list of required documents below.
GFL-mandated documentation for all cheerleaders and football players:
- GFL Physical- ORIGINAL copy of your 2025 GFL Physical, signed and stamped by the physician's office. The physical must be dated for 2025!! NGHS is offering physicals that will meet all GFL requirements on April 19. You will need to have a copy of the GFL Physical Form (found at www.ngfa.com). See flyer below for info.
- 2025 GFL Registration Form- pick up at in person registration and have signed by both parents/guardians
- Birth Certificate- Parents must present an original Birth Certificate at in person registration and must provide a copy of their athlete's Birth Certificate (this is replacing the NSID process)
- 2025 Baseline Concussion Test- a certificate of completion is required for Middle School aged football players and cheerleaders (details will be provided at in person registration)
- Proof of Residence for all 8th Grade Athletes- 8th Grade football players and cheerleaders will be required to provide documentation of where they are zoned to attend school in the Fall of 2025 (details of GFL approved documentation will be provided at in person registration). You will also need a copy of your student's 7th grade transcript/report card.
