Millennium Families,
This past week we finished up our theatre performances with Senior One Act plays. It was fun watching our seniors in their final performances of their high school career. Some of our spring sports programs finished out their season. Our girls tennis team continue in the quarterfinals of the state playoffs hosting Corona Del Sol on Tuesday. These girls have had quite the run this year.
I am super excited about a new tradition starting this year, the Senior Walk. Thank you to Mr. Lino Robles for his creative thinking in wanting to create some memories for our seniors. Interested seniors will have the opportunity to return to Litchfield, Palm Valley, or Mabel Padgett and visit their former teachers and talk to kids. Sign up and information can be found here. bit.ly/MHSSeniorElementaryWalk

Senior Checkout - Seniors have only 12 days left of school. They will be provided a link that will act as their checklist for items required to be done (bookstore fees, returning library materials, returning uniforms, etc.). Our main checkout days will be on May 13th and 14th and will continue during diploma pick up days on May 20th and 21st as some seniors will still be involved with AP or IB testing on the 13th and 14th. Seniors will be provided more details later this week. This information will include what they need to know about our Chromebook gifting as well. Please encourage your senior to check their emails daily.
Dress Code - As we move into warmer weather, I want to remind our parents and students about our dress code. Students out of dress code will be required to change and be in dress code prior to attending class. The dress code can be found in the Student handbook on page 27. The biggest violation we see is strapless, backless, and excessive torso exposed.
Arriving to campus - This is just a reminder school begins at 7:15am. Please be sure students arrive with plenty of time to enter campus and get to class on time. There seems to be a little lull at 7am, which is a great time to arrive.
Reminder - all students are required to show their ID upon entering campus every morning. If students do not have their ID they will be escorted to the bookstore to get a replacement ID. Replacement IDs are $2.00.
