• Tessa Molinari's ACTIVE MINDS MS club is now in full swing! Active Minds is a popular club in HS that focuses on mental health awareness and education for teens and young adults. Tessa is a Senior and will be holding this group during lunch for middle schoolers as part of her senior project. Thank you, Tessa for providing this wonderful group for our students to participate in.

Grade 8 had a wonderful trip to Providence on Wednesday to see the productions of "A Christmas Carol".

"The Nutcracker'' graces the stage at Millis High School, 245 Plain Street, this weekend for its 3-day run. The family friendly performance features music from the original Tchaikovsky Score as well as some of Duke Ellington’s variations from his Three Suites. The production runs about 90 minutes including an intermission where snacks will be available to benefit the HS Newspaper The Crimson Post.

This local production features over 170 Millis students from grades preK - K. Each performance features a different cast of very dedicated performers who have been rehearsing since the beginning of the school year. The show will be the last Nutcracker performances for our four seniors, Mollie Hatch, Isabella Michaud - Huang, Kaitlyn Richards, and Annie Rollag.

Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for students and seniors (under 5 free but a possible lap sitter) and can be purchased at the door until they sell out.. All proceeds benefit Terpsichore, the Millis MS/HS Dance Club.

Performance Dates as times are as follows:

Friday December 6 at 7:00 PM

Saturday December 7 at 2:00 PM

Sunday December 8 at 1:00 PM

Please share our information with caretakers who may need help navigating these complex situations at home, and we are available to come into the school for in-the-moment assessment to help partner with you in navigating challenging events. Spread Holiday Cheer and Support Millis DECA!

This holiday season, bring some festive fun to your neighborhood while supporting a great cause! For just $30, you can have cheerful Elf Lawn Ornaments placed in someone's yard for three nights. Each elf brings a touch of holiday magic and is part of a special fundraising effort to support Millis DECA students.

Your donation helps us continue providing valuable leadership, career development, and entrepreneurial opportunities for future business leaders. It's a simple, fun way to make someone's home more festive and make a big impact on our community!

How it works:

1. Make a $30 donation to DECA. (checks made out to Millis High School or venmo @Yvonne-FitzGerald)

2. We’ll place adorable Elf Lawn Ornaments in the yard of your choice for three nights. We will deliver to Millis, Medway, and Medfield.

3. They can enjoy the holiday cheer as people marvel at the festive sight!

PARAPROFESSIONAL OPENINGS

We are seeking TWO paraprofessionals to support middle school aged students in classes. One position is 0.8 which is 80% of the work week so hours could be 9:20-2:20 or four out of five days a week. On 12/11/24, Early Release Day, members of the Millis Police are hosting a half day program for students in grades 6th, 7th, and 8th. We will be walking the students to Ryan Family Amusements for a fun afternoon of bowling and team building activities!

Members of the Millis Police will meet those students the day of the event in the Millis High / Middle school cafeteria at the end of the half day on 12/11/24 at 10:55AM. From there, they will walk with the students from the school to Ryan Family Amusements. Bowling will be FREE!

Please pack your student with a bagged lunch if they would like to eat at the bowling alley. You may also send your student with money for snacks, drinks or arcade games. Once we have finished bowling, we will walk the students back to the Millis Police Station located at 1003 Main St.

Please pick your child up from the station at the conclusion of the day at 3 PM.

Come support the Millis Ski Team on Thursday, December 12 at 7:00pm by coming to see this year's Warren Miller Movie! Warren Miller movies are ski and snowboard movies filmed in some of the most beautiful places featuring incredible athletes.
