Our students have showcased exceptional communication skills, articulating their thoughts and ideas with eloquence through presentations, artistic endeavors, and collective projects.
As we bid farewell to our C.I.A. P.Y.P graduating class of 2024, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to the support of parents, guardians, facilitators, and the entire school community. Your steadfast dedication has been instrumental in nurturing the growth and development of our students.
Our school community remains persistent in its commitment to cultivating a culture of lifelong learning and growth, empowering students to embody compassion and global citizenship, poised to make a meaningful difference in the world.

THE LEARNER PROFILE FOCUS - COMMUNICATOR
HAPPENINGS IN C.I.A.
PYP EXHIBITION
On May 4, our learners explored solutions to make the world a better place in their PYP exhibition. Students presented their exceptional projects on hunger and poverty, technology and global warming, and other important global issues, sparking insightful discussions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. The works of our students were on full display during this invaluable experience.
FIFTH GRADE GRADUATION
On June 1, the Mensvic Grand Hotel was filled with excitement as the 2024 PYP graduation ceremony took place.
The highlight of the event was the certificate presentation, where each graduand received their well-deserved certificate of completion.
The graduands then took center stage, singing their graduation song with enthusiasm followed by the traditional hat toss, where the graduands tossed their hats into the air, symbolizing their transition to the next stage of their educational journey.

DP SHARING
On May 18, 2024, a collaborative parent-teacher meeting where vital information on the subjects to be offered by C.I.A. for the Diploma Program and their career prospects was extensively explored by our facilitators with our Year 5 students and parents.
The aim was to support student success and academic achievement and provide an opportunity for both students and parents to make informed decisions on the subjects to select as they look forward to the Diploma Program and foster our school’s commitment to students’ learning and progress.
STUDENT – LED CONFERENCE
Students had the opportunity to take their parents through their learning journey for the academic year during the student-led conference. PYP students showcased their works through their portfolios, journals as well as homeroom displays, while the MYP students showcased their work through PowerPoint presentations. They also showcased their achievements, talked about their challenges, and set goals for improvement in the next school year with the help of their parents/guardians and their homeroom facilitators.
TAKING ACTION IN THE MYP
In the "Upcycling Textiles" unit, year 1 students explored sustainability by repurposing textiles into new and useful items. From turning old t-shirts into tote bags to transforming denim into stylish accessories.
MYP YEAR 2
Our Year 2 students delved into sustainable consumption of resources including electricity, water, food, and school supplies. They showed their innovation and analytical skills to create intricate systems aimed at fostering responsible consumption habits.
In the "Cardboard Furniture" unit, year 3 students demonstrated their engineering skills by designing and constructing functional furniture pieces using cardboard. Each piece showcases not only their craftsmanship but also their commitment to eco-friendly solutions.
JESSICA ADOFO’S STORY
Year 1 students are exploring the art of storytelling. They have been encouraged to tell stories in different ways. In a task given to Barack Obama to tell stories in different ways, Jessica Adofo presented this beautiful artistic story.
MYP TEACHERS' WORKSHOP
We successfully held our MYP workshop led by our resource person, Mr. Thaid Rahimi ! It was a fantastic event filled with innovative teaching strategies and collaborative learning. Thank you to everyone who participated!
ELECTRIFYING LEARNING IN FIFTH GRADE
Fifth grade students delved into the world of electricity through a series of dynamic and interactive activities. They started their exploration with a creative graffiti where they shared their prior knowledge. Students also demonstrated their wit by crafting concept posters with clever puns, making complex ideas both fun and memorable.
UPDATE ON MATH MASTER
The journey has been very fascinating as the students explored their skills and abilities in solving daily riddles and participating in math quiz. A workshop was organized to thoroughly prepare students for the math competition.
It was a thrilling moment for students as they engaged in math fun games which opened them up to understand some basic key concepts in math and how it could be applied in real life situations. The event was crowned with a Mathematics Quiz Competition and the winners were; Ishmael Nzeba Ghansah, who placed first, Kristin Naa Komley Ashong, who placed second and Elinam Dieu-Donne Ocloo, who placed third.
ARTISTIC EXPRESSION
In the fourth-grade unit on "Artistic Expressions," students explored various creative forms of self-expression. They chose artistic mediums that personally resonated with them to convey their feelings of happiness or sadness."
Learners created models of their favorite item as part of the lesson on sculpting.
Grade four learners explored the ability of body movement through nature - inspired workouts, turning exercise into an art form that reflects the beauty of our planet during PSPE.
THE CHALLENGERS RUN
To celebrate our third-grade learning achievements, a Science and Mathematics quiz was organized, providing students with an opportunity to showcase their knowledge. Students formed teams and competed against each other in several challenging rounds. Ultimately, The Dream Team, emerged victorious, followed by the team, Preppy Girls. The Dream and The A Team placed third and fourth respectively. It was challenging and exciting as students showcased their prowess in the competition.
TRASH TO TREASURE!
As part of encouraging the students to save the planet earth, students in Grade 3 used recyclable materials to create decorative pieces that promote sustainability. They transformed discarded materials into beautiful arts, as they learn to reduce, reuse and recycle.
EXPLORATIONS IN SECOND GRADE
Students in second grade used various methods to delve into the world of exploration, focusing on concepts through hands-on activities and discussions.
LIGHT AND SOUND IN FIRST GRADE
Learners in first grade explored the concept of light and sound through various experiments and activities
SHARING THE PLANET IN KINDERGARTEN
Our young learners explored the Transdisciplinary Theme (TDT) "Sharing the Planet" by learning about animals through varied activities including comparing different species. They integrated subjects like Mathematics and Language Arts, along with their Unit of Inquiry (UOI) to discuss the importance of animals.
MYP PERSONAL PROJECT
The “Personal Project” marks a thrilling apex of the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (IB MYP) journey, embodying a grand fusion of knowledge and skills honed throughout the program. It’s a vibrant showcase of innovation and a testament to the students’ quest for new horizons and mastery of the IB ATL Skills. This year’s personal project exhibition is the first of its kind. Our remarkable Year 5 students took the reins of their learning experience and shone brilliantly. Kudos to all our MYP final-year students who orchestrated a spectacular display of talent and dedication!
