Second Semester Check in!

Believe it or not, we are solidly into the second half of the school year! At this point, your ninth graders should be aware of their academic standing in all of their classes based on Q2 grades and have a plan of action for moving forward with the final two quarters of the year.

Encourage your children to be checking Schoology and Powerschool regularly and reaching out with questions about their coursework. Self-advocacy is an important skill for academic growth and success!

Culture and Climate Family Survey

To complete the family survey, please go to this link: https://rezed.io/1PDH2D. Every parent who takes the survey will be entered into a weekly raffle to win a gift-card!!! After you've taken the survey, email Eleisha LeMay (ELeMay@crec.org) with your child's name, and you will be entered into the raffle!

Fun at the New England Air Museum!

On Friday, January 10, 60 ninth graders traveled to the NE Air Museum for a day of learning and exploring in their three hangars of historical and educational exhibits. Students learned from retired engineers, tested out flight simulators, and participated in a scavenger hunt to test their skills!

Use THIS STAFF DIRECTORY AND COURSE UPDATES LINK to take a quick peek at what your child is up to in their courses and note staff emails to being able to reach out to teachers of particular classes. Encourage your child to reach out to their teachers directly in person or via Schoology message as well!

Upcoming Field Trips

Bushnell Theater: Friday, March 21. Ninth graders are invited to the Bushnell for Shaun Boothe's Unauthorized Biography Series. Sign up TODAY via Powerschool forms! Deadline is March 6.
Philadelphia: April 23-25. SIGN UPS CLOSED. If your child is signed up already, make sure you're making payments to keep their spot secured! The final payment is due on Feb 22. Students signed up for the trip were all added to a Schoology group to receive updates!
