Good evening parents, The Patriot awards were originally scheduled on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, however, due to the recent school closures/virtual learning this past week the Patriot Awards that you were previously invited to attend will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.

Remember this is a surprise for the students! Please see the times for each grade level below. We appreciate your support in celebrating the students.

• Grade 6 parents will arrive at 8:20 am, we will call the students down at 8:35 am.
• Grade 7 parents will arrive at 9:10 am, we will call the students down at 9:25 am
• Grade 8 parents will arrive at 9:55 am, we will call the student down at 10:10 am

Please join us for our Winter Band Concert on January 29. Details are provided below.

The county science fair will go on as scheduled on Saturday, Jan. 25 at Spring Mills High School. Set up will be Friday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. where they will receive their judging times for Saturday. Judging is from 9 a.m. and noon, and the award ceremony will begin at 1:30 p.m. Best of luck!

The date of the 8th grade Blue Ridge CTC/ James Rumsey trip is fast approaching. We are going on Friday, February 14th.

If you have not signed and returned your child's permission slip, please turn it in. If you did not receive a permission slip, please reach out to your child's homeroom teacher.

If your child does not submit a permission slip by Friday, February 7, he or she will not be able to attend. Don't miss out on this opportunity!
